A leading healthcare provider faced the challenge of modernizing its digital platforms—a patient portal and an internal records management system. Their manual software deployment processes were slow, risky, and caused service disruptions, which is unacceptable in the healthcare sector. They needed a partner to automate their software development lifecycle, ensuring security, regulatory compliance, and service continuity.

Our Approach
**Assess & Design:** We began with our QuickWin program, analyzing their existing applications and manual workflows. We identified key risks related to data security and system stability. We then designed a phased strategy for implementing CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, tailored to the strict requirements of the healthcare industry.
**Automate & Implement:** We containerized the applications using Docker for portability. We defined their entire AWS cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform. We built automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI, incorporating steps for static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and automated testing before proceeding to a blue-green deployment strategy.
Solution
- **DevOps & CI/CD Automation:** We built a complete, automated workflow with GitLab CI that allows developers to deliver new code securely and quickly with the push of a button.
- **Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform:** The management of servers, networks, and databases became fully automated and version-controlled, eliminating manual errors and simplifying audits.
- **Containerization with Docker & Kubernetes:** We encapsulated applications in Docker containers and managed them with Kubernetes to ensure scalability, high availability, and consistency across all environments.
- **Security & Monitoring:** We integrated security scanning tools directly into the CI/CD pipeline and implemented a centralized monitoring and logging system for complete traceability.
